Following my first article, You Don’t Need a Fancy Kitchen to Cook, I wanted to give helpful information on where you can find decent kitchenware on a budget!

Yard sales: If you’re the type of person to not care about hand-me-downs, this is where a lot of people miss great deals. Most people who host yard sales want everything gone by the end of the day, no matter how cheap. If you’re able to scout of yard sales happening near you, walk around and see what kind of kitchenware you can find! Some of the best things are found in a yard sale. For example, I was able to purchase a brand-new kitchen aid mixer for $5!
Facebook Marketplace: Another great hand-me-down market! People are constantly posting new items for sale of marketplace for cheap prices. As long as you keep an eye out for those deals in your area, you could score big! Plus, with Facebook’s algorithm, if you look at kitchenware enough on marketplace, they’ll start sending you notifications for great deals.
TJ Maxx: For those who aren’t fans of hand-me-downs, try TJ Maxx! I have been able to find great quality kitchenware for pretty cheap. What I’ve liked about TJ Maxx is that I don’t need to buy a whole set all at once. They have individual pieces for sale that might help save money too.
Wherever and whatever you decide to buy, we don’t shame here. We accept ALL kinds of it, even it’s an easy bake oven. (If it is one though, you’ll have to share because I never got one as a kid!)
